It was a good run, but McGregor unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 66-51 bruising from the Glen Rose Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1012th, while the Tigers are ranked 106th).

McGregor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Glen Rose, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

McGregor will be taking part in a tournament against Live Oak Classical at 3:40 p.m. on Friday. Glen Rose will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
