Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Borgia Comes Up Short

St. Francis Borgia lost against Nixa back in October of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Leading Nixa to victory were Addie O'Connell and Peyton Creed. O'Connell had 14 digs, while Creed had 16 assists and eight digs. That's the most assists Creed has posted over her last seven matchups.

St. Francis Borgia's loss dropped their record down to 14-9-2. As for Nixa, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 23-9.

Coming up, St. Francis Borgia will challenge Union at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Nixa, they will take on Ozark at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
