After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pisgah, Pelahatchie was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Raleigh Lions 4-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Chiefs as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Ava Till spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on 12 hits. She also put up a walk, which was her first of the season.
