Basketball Recap: Valley View Takes a Loss

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Valley View was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Centennial Huskies and fell 98-14. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-10.

Reshawn Alexander was Valley View's leading scorer, having posted six points. Elijah McDaniel held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Centennial, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

Valley View will square off against Varsity Opponent at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Centennial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rancho Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rancho Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Centennial likes a good challenge.
