Basketball Recap: Don Lugo Takes a Loss

Don Lugo lost against San Dimas back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Don Lugo Conquistadores and the San Dimas Saints didn't end well, with the Don Lugo Conquistadores falling 66-47. While losing is never fun, the Conquistadores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 976th, while the Saints are ranked 377th).

This is the second loss in a row for Don Lugo and nudges their season record down to 2-14. As for San Dimas, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Don Lugo will welcome Ontario at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Dimas, they will challenge Alta Loma at 6:30 p.m. on January 10th.
