Soccer Recap: Tri-Cities Takes a Loss

Tri-Cities fought the good fight in their overtime match against Lakeside on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lakeside Vikings by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Tri-Cities' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lakeside, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Cities will square off against Shiloh at 7:30 p.m. on March 21st. As for Lakeside, they will venture away from home to take on Decatur at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
