Carter Roberts has led Kings Mountain in runs on the season and he led the team again on Friday. Roberts was dialed in as he scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He was dominant the last time he took on Huss last Tuesday, so they probably should've seen this coming. Kings Mountain is undefeated when Roberts posts two or more runs, but 1-4 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Roberts and Kings Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against North Gaston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kings Mountain is 8-2 against North Gaston going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
