Lewis & Clark is 1-9 against University since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Tigers will host the Titans at 4:00 p.m. Lewis & Clark is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Lewis & Clark is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of Ridgeline. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 4-0 in the first period.

Rhiannon Kilgore made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Vienna Klein also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

University never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Ferris on Thursday. They blew past the Saxons 17-3. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

University has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Lewis & Clark, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
