Softball Recap: Hiawatha Takes a Loss

Hiawatha fell victim to Indian Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 11-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Timberwolves: they've now lost eight in a row.

Hiawatha's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Indian Creek, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.

Coming up, Hiawatha will face off against South Beloit at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks are facing the Sobos at the right time seeing as the Sobos are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Indian Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
