Danbury took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against New Canaan, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hatters had just enough and edged out the Rams 3-2. The victory was all the more spectacular given Danbury's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while New Canaan are ranked sixth).
