Baseball Recap: Pocatello Comes Up Short

Pocatello blew Rigby out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Rigby got their revenge. The Thunder fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 5-3. That's two games in a row now that the Thunder have lost by exactly two runs.

Pocatello saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KACHE STUCKI, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. The Thunder are 5-1 when STUCKI posts two or more stolen bases, but 3-14 otherwise.

Pocatello's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-15. As for Rigby, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-14 record this season.

Pocatello will venture away from home to challenge Highland at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Thunder surely won't give up without a fight. Rigby does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
