Recap: Milano Eagles vs. Bremond Tigers
The Milano Eagles lost against the Bremond Tigers back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Milano was beaten by Bremond 48-13. Milano has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Milano lost, one person who can't be blamed is George Burke. Despite the final result, he rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown. Burke's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
Bremond found their leader in underclassman Terrence Scott, who rushed for 227 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Koben Zan, who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown.
Milano has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Bremond, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
Milano will head out on the road to face off against Granger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Granger will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Bremond will take on Bartlett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bartlett comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
