After only two runs in their last matchup, Hopewell-Loudon made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lakota on Wednesday. The Chieftains were the clear victors by a 17-10 margin over the Raiders. Considering the Chieftains have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on AnneMarie Berg, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Karsyn Snyder also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
