If the Litchfield Cowboys were riding high off their 84-52 takedown of the Gilbert Yellowjackets last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Litchfield was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 54-53 to the Warriors. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Litchfield in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost seven in a row.

Wamogo Regional's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Patrick Weaving, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Coffey, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Litchfield now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Wamogo Regional, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Litchfield will stay at home for another game and welcome the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st. Wamogo Regional will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th.
