There's no place like home for Ezekiel Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Eastwood Christian Warriors 3-0 on Thursday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ezekiel Academy was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-14.

Kiley Henderson paced Ezekiel Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Henderson got some help from Jillian Newell and her 15 assists. Newell also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Addie Newell, racking up four apiece.

Ezekiel Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Eastwood Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Ezekiel Academy will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Victory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastwood Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Peach City Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
