De Soto had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Olathe North Eagles a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for De Soto, who have now won 11 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

De Soto pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those four games. As for Olathe North, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1.

Coming up, De Soto will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Louisburg. De Soto will need to watch out since Louisburg has now posted at least four goals in their last four contests. As for Olathe North, they will challenge Olathe South on Tuesday. Olathe South's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
