Mena had to settle for second on Monday, but Abi Koppein sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the loss, Koppein was still locked in as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Koppein and Mena will host Dardanelle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Koppein's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Bearcats' seven-game streak of wins at home.
