Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Westwood

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grace Christian Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Westwood Wildcats 43-21. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 34-26 victory two weeks ago.

Chloe Brogdon was a one-woman wrecking crew for Grace Christian Academy as she went 8-for-16 to rack up 20 points and five boards. What's more, Brogdon also posted a 50% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ava Martin, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Grace Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive matches.

Grace Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Westwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-16.
