While South Oak Cliff had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least ten points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 25-14.
Sunset's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8. As for South Oak Cliff, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1.
