Baseball Recap: Madison Southern Eagles vs. North Laurel Jaguars
Madison Southern was the 12-5 winner over North Laurel when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Madison Southern Eagles fell just short of the North Laurel Jaguars by a score of 6-5 on Thursday.
Braden Hudson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Back, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Madison Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for North Laurel, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

North Laurel is facing Barbourville at the right time seeing as Barbourville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
