If Ness City wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Ellis, they should've done a better job of containing Caleb Noble-Heit. The Ellis Railroaders came out on top against the Ness City Eagles by a score of 64-54 on Tuesday thanks to Noble-Heit, who went 10-for-12 en route to 27 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.9% field goal percentage.

Aiden Aschenbrenner was another key player, putting up 15 points and eight assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Ness City lost, don't look at Broxton Gall. Despite the final result, he had 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Thane Brenner, who earned nine points.

The victory made it two in a row for Ellis and bumps their season record up to 8-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points over those games. As for Ness City, they now also have a losing record of 8-9.

Looking ahead, Ellis will welcome Oakley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ellis has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Ness City, they will head out to take on Otis-Bison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ness City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.
