Volleyball Game Preview: Casa Grande Gauchos vs. American Canyon Wolves

Casa Grande is 1-9 against American Canyon since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Gauchos will host the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. American Canyon took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Casa Grande, who comes in off a win.

Casa Grande not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Napa with a sharp 3-0 win. The Gauchos haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Casa Grande took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13, 25-13.

Meanwhile, in Thursday's Canine Competition, American Canyon didn't have enough. They lost 3-0 to Vacaville on Thursday.

While American Canyon was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23, 25-16.

Casa Grande's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for American Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
