There's no place like home for Cox, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 24-7 win over the Kellam Knights on Friday. The Falcons pushed the score to 21-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights cut but never quite recovered from.

Kellam's loss came despite strong showings from Aaron Smith and Drew McEntarfer. Smith picked up 187 receiving yards and one score, while McEntarfer threw for 121 yards and one touchdown. Smith was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 55 yards.

Cox's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.3 points on average over those games. As for Kellam, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
