Athens Academy is 8-2 against Commerce since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Athens Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Oglethorpe County, posting a 74-25 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Spartans with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Commerce duked it out withRabun County on Saturday. Commerce had to suffer through a 61-21 loss at the hands of Rabun County. The Tigers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Athens Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Commerce, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
