Basketball Recap: Airan Wallace Key Part of a Team Effort in Cougars Win

Adams posted their closest victory since January 26th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the ILTexas Arlington Eagles 45-42.

Adams got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Airan Wallace out in front who went 6 for 8 on his way to 13 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Daelon Camp, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

Adams' win bumped their record up to 3-12. As for ILTexas Arlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Adams didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-27 loss against Southwest on the 27th. As for ILTexas Arlington, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Newman International Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 16, 2025.
