Basketball Game Preview: Browerville Tigers vs. Wheaton Warriors

The Browerville Tigers will take on the Wheaton Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Browerville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Browerville took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Menahga 88-60. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Wheaton entered their tilt with Parkers Prairie on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 67-55 win over the Panthers. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Panthers are ranked 356th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Browerville is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.2 points. As for Wheaton, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
