Recap: Southern Wake Academy Lions vs. Chatham Charter Knights
The Southern Wake Academy Lions can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Chatham Charter with a sharp 60-39 win. The score was close at the half, but Southern Wake Academy pulled away in the second half with 38 points.
Southern Wake Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chris Crudup, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Plata, who scored 13 points along with five assists and four steals.
When it comes to explaining why Chatham Charter lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jonah Ridgill. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. Ridgill has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brennan LaVelle, who scored seven points along with five assists.
Southern Wake Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 47.67 points. As for Chatham Charter, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

River Mill has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
