Softball Recap: Pangburn Comes Up Short

Pangburn was the 8-3 winner over Cedar Ridge when they last played one another back in March of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Pangburn Tigers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves on Saturday. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pangburn's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Cedar Ridge, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Coming up, Pangburn is taking a road trip to take on Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cedar Ridge, they will welcome Sloan-Hendrix at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Sloan-Hendrix's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
