It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Aspen can now relate to. They fell just short of the Timnath Cubs by a score of 58-55 on Saturday. The Skiers' defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Timnath's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jack Hemme, who went 7-for-9 en route to 18 points. What's more, Hemme also posted a 78% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Another player making a difference was Luke Jacobson, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards.

Aspen's loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Timnath, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.

Aspen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Timnath, they will challenge Coal Ridge at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Timnath's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.
