Pine Lake Prep waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Lincoln Charter Eagles. Surprisingly, this marked the Pride's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Emery Jensen made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emma Rette, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Maddie Beaver, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Pine Lake Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in 11 consecutive matchups.

Pine Lake Prep's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lincoln Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.

As of now, neither Pine Lake Prep nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
