Nick Madsen was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 42 points and five rebounds. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Pulcini, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine assists.
GV Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Lincoln County over Awaken Christian in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Lincoln County blew Awaken Christian out of the water with a 61-34 final score. The Lynx have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.
GV Christian better keep an eye on Kalen Bart. He was instrumental in Lincoln County's win, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Bart continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Rowdy Lloyd was another key player, putting up 14 points and five assists.
Lincoln County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for GV Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: GV Christian has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Lincoln County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 37 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
