Football Game Preview: Ridge Community Bolts vs. Auburndale Bloodhounds + How To Watch

The Ridge Community Bolts are taking a road trip to square off against the Auburndale Bloodhounds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Auburndale took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ridge Community, who comes in off a win.

Ridge Community will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up seven points last Friday, then bounced right back against George Jenkins on Friday. The Bolts were the clear victors by a 31-7 margin over the Eagles. The Bolts have beaten the Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Daniel James continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 139 receiving yards and three TDs, while also throwing for 209 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes. His longest reception was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total. Ridge Community also got a significant boost from Kenyon Helms, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 105 yards.

Meanwhile, Auburndale suffered their biggest loss since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 37-3 loss at the hands of Jones. The Bloodhounds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.

Ridge Community's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Auburndale, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Ridge Community couldn't quite get it done against Auburndale when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 7-0. Can the Bolts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
