Basketball Recap: Southern Triumphs

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Southern ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past the Buckeye Local Panthers with a 63-58 victory. The win almost wasn't to be: the Indians were down 37-22 in the third quarter.

Southern's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Buckeye Local, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern will take on David Anderson at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Buckeye Local, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Clairsville at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd.
