Soccer Recap: Livingston Finds Playoff Glory Versus West Campus

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Livingston had no problem doing just that on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the West Campus Warriors 1-0. That's two games straight that Wolves have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Alejandro Avila, who's now up to 13 this season.

The win was the third in a row for Livingston, bringing their record for this year to 11-7. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for West Campus, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Coming up, Livingston will square off against Dixon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Livingston's last six matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. West Campus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
