Volleyball Recap: Livingston Beats Oakland for Their Third Straight Victory

It's playoff time, and Livingston had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Oakland Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Their offense was headlined by Navjot Sekhon and Gurvir Singh, who picked up 19 kills apiece. They got some help from Shabadjot Kaloya and his 35 assists. Finally, Singh was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Livingston's victory bumped their record up to 37-6. As for Oakland, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-8.

After both having extra time off, Livingston and Mater Dei Catholic will shake off the rust and duke it out at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight. Oakland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
