            Volleyball Recap: Carrizo Springs Wildcats vs. Floresville Tigers/Jaguars        
        
		
        
        
            If Carrizo Springs was feeling good  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of Pearsall on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against  the Floresville Tigers/Jaguars on Friday, falling  3-0. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Tigers/Jaguars: they've now lost seven in a row.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15,  25-15.
 Kalie Sepulveda paced Carrizo Springs' offense, picking up four kills. Sepulveda got some help from  Giada Gonzalez and her five assists.  Janyka Daliling controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Carrizo Springs' loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Floresville, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-13 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Carrizo Springs will  square off against  rival Uvalde  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Floresville is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Pleasanton  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
