Volleyball Recap: Glenbard East's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Glenbard East, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Ridgewood Rebels by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Glenbard East easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-21.

Glenbard East's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Ridgewood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-4 record this season.

Glenbard East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against York on the 1st. As for Ridgewood, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Riverside-Brookfield on the 7th.
