Football Game Preview: Perry Maroons vs. Millwood Falcons

Perry is 0-3 against Millwood since October of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Maroons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Perry has given up an average of 35.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Perry had taken Chisholm down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Maroons had to suffer through a 46-15 loss at the hands of the Longhorns. While losing is never fun, the Maroons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Longhorns are ranked 108th).

Despite the loss, Perry got top-tier performance from Andrew Kukuk, who rushed for 225 yards and two TDs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Millwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 54-6 victory over Crooked Oak. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Ruf-Nex: they've now won seven in a row.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Millwood, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
