Volleyball Recap: Ponchatoula Comes Up Short

Ponchatoula came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Fontainebleau Bulldogs, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Green Wave have suffered since September 16th.

Ponchatoula has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season. As for Fontainebleau, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ponchatoula is set to take on their familiar foe Mandeville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fontainebleau will face off against rival Covington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
