Benedictine put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas with a sharp 28-3 victory. Given the Cadets' advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked fifth in Virginia, while the Little Hoyas are ranked 25th in Maryland) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Benedictine's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Georgetown Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Benedictine will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Christopher's at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cadets 0.8, the Saints 8.8) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Georgetown Prep, they will head out to face off against Woodberry Forest at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
