Basketball Recap: North Shore snaps four-game streak of wins at home

The North Shore Vikings lost against the Friends Academy Quakers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. North Shore lost to the Quakers at home by a decisive 68-50 margin.

Friends Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joshua Alexander mckenzie, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. Jackson O'Brien was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.

North Shore's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3. As for Friends Academy, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

North Shore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Friends Academy will be playing at home against the Golden Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lawrence is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
