Baseball Recap: Clearfield Find Success

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Clearfield and Central have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Bison walked away with a 6-3 win over the Dragons. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kam Kushner was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Christian Welker was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The win got Clearfield back to even at 9-9. As for Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 14-5 record.

Clearfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Bellefonte on the 12th. As for Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Penns Valley Area on the 12th.
