Volleyball Recap: Stargate School Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stargate School can now relate to. They fell just short of the Severance Silver Knights by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Silver Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in April.

Zeke Wawrzyniak was nothing short of spectacular for Severance: he had 28 digs and one assist. Those 28 digs gave Wawrzyniak a new career-high.

Stargate School's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Severance, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Stargate School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Severance, they have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Lutheran on the 10th.
