Basketball Recap: Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy lost against Madison Academy back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The game between the Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles and the Madison Academy Mustangs didn't end well, with the Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles falling 63-44.

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Madison Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Springville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madison Academy and Lawrence County will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th.
