Baseball Recap: Wayne's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Wayne fell victim to East and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of East. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, Wayne's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wayne's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for East, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Wayne will challenge Mynderse Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East, they will square off against Red Jacket at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
