Baseball Recap: Grosse Ile Triumphs

Grosse Ile took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Flat Rock, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Devils had just enough and edged out the Rams 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Devils have posted against the Rams since April 21, 2023.

Max Myers was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had over his last four matchups. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
