Basketball Recap: Nicolet's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Nicolet won the last time they faced Port Washington, and Rashaad Davis did his part to make sure it happened again. The Nicolet Knights were the clear victor by an 85-65 margin over the Port Washington Pirates on Friday thanks in part to Davis, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Carter Zuithoff, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Nicolet and bumps their season record up to 13-3. As for Port Washington, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Nicolet will welcome Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Port Washington, they will head out on the road to challenge West Bend West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
