Two dominant backs in Kelby Glaze and Devonis Lee are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Lincoln County Red Devils will take on the Early County Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln County will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Lincoln County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Brooks County 52-16. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Lincoln County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Jones, who rushed for 73 yards and one score. Jones' longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Mekhi Wade was in the mix as well, providing Lincoln County with two touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lincoln County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 335 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 228 rushing yards in 12 consecutive games.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lincoln County's defense and their eight sacks. Jones and Jeremiah Wynn were the leaders of the group effort as each produced three apiece. Jeremiah Johnson has been hot recently, having also posted six or more total tackles the last four times he's played. Lincoln County received some extra help from Glaze, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Early County earned a 27-20 win over Screven County on Friday.
Lincoln County better keep an eye on Evan Grist. He was instrumental in Early County's win, rushing for 126 yards and one TD on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 58 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Grist has posted since back in November of 2024.
Early County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kobe Lingo and K.J. Lindsey. Shayden Hall was another major factor on D, making 20 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Lincoln County's record is now 13-0. As for Early County, their record now sits at 10-3.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Lincoln County has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 252.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Early County struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 297.8 rushing yards.
