Soccer Recap: Massac County Takes a Loss

Massac County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden Wildcats. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Massac County couldn't quite close it out.

Massac County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden, they moved to 4-6 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Massac County is set to face off against their familiar foe Pinckneyville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden will challenge rival Carterville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
