Ryker Terry leads a balanced attack to beat Bledsoe County

The Sequatchie County Indians came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 65-60 win over Bledsoe County. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Sequatchie County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryker Terry led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Terry has scored all season. Beckham Mckendrick was another key contributor, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds.

Sequatchie County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 5.67 points across that stretch. As for Bledsoe County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Sequatchie County will be playing in front of their home fans against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bledsoe County on the road again on Tuesday and play against Marion County at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
